State announces road closures near Alger, Roundhead
Road closures north of Alger and south of Roundhead continue while SR 235 in Alger will be closed for one day next week.
State Route 309 between township Road 25 and county Road 35, north of Alger, closed Oct. 31 for two weeks for the replacement of three culverts. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 235, state Route 81 and I-75 back to state Route 309. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.
State Route 117 just south of Roundhead closed Oct. 25 for approximately three weeks for a culvert replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 235 and U.S. 33 back to state Route 117. Work is being performed by VTF, Celina.
State Route 235 at its intersection with township Road 92, within the village of Alger, will close for one day during the week of Nov. 6 for water line repair. The closure was scheduled originally for Nov. 1 but was delayed. Traffic will be detoured onto county Road 35 to county Road 110 back onto state Route 235. Work is being performed by Amburgey Construction, Ada, for the village of Alger.
