Just in time for Valentine's Day, Jan Romes, local contemporary romance author has a book signing this weekend.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, at Book ReViews, 123 S. Main St., Bluffton, according to Dr. Christina Walton, store manager.

Romes's book "Charred Snake for Two" is the newest of the author's 23 books. Her book credits include:
• Wine and Sweat Pants Series -
   Book 1, No Sweat Pants Allowed - Wine Club
   Book 2, Sipping Sangria
   Book 3, Merlot in Maine

The author also has a series of four books under the title "Texas Boys Falling Fast," plus 13 other romance books.

Romes describes herself as a hopeless romantic who grew up in northwest Ohio with eight zany siblings.

Married to her high school sweetheart, she is a mom, mother-in-law and grandmother. She likes to read most genres, writes witty contemporary romance and women's fiction, enjoys finding new ways to stay fit and likes to garden. 

She is a member of Romance Writers of America.
