Lloyd A. Paul, age 83 died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.

          He was born on January 21, 1935 in Allen County, Ohio to the late Alexander and Nettie (Reidell) Paul.  On March 18, 1956 Lloyd married Mary (Klingler) Paul and she survives in Harrod.

          Lloyd worked as a carpenter for the Local #372 of Lima for 64 years.  He was a 1954 graduate of LaFayette-Jackson High School. 

          Also surviving is a son, Dennis (Linda) Paul of Harrod; two daughters: Karen (Ken) Bender and Diana (Joe) Johnson both of Cridersville; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Sayler of Michigan.

          Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 7, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Charles Moeller officiating.  It was his wish to be cremated following the service.  Burial will take place at a later date in Desenberg Cemetery, LaFayette.   

          Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
