Bulldog netters dominate Rams

UPPER SANDUSKY - The streaking Ada boys tennis team defeated Upper Sandusky easily by a 4-1 count Monday evening.
The Bulldog netters improved to 10-1 with their fourth consecutive victory. Ada dominated the three singles matches so thoroughly that they did not drop a single game in six sets.
Unbeaten senior Beaschler improved to 16-0 this spring at first singles with a double bagel win.
Junior Cade Mullins ran his record to 12-2 with a blowout win at second singles.
Sophomore Isaac Spar also won handily at third singles.
The first doubles tandem of freshman Miranda Wills and sophomore Nathan Hurtig won a final-set tiebreaker (7-2) to pull out a gutsy victory in three sets.

1st singles: Zach Beaschler (A) defeats Clay Burger 6-0, 6-0
2nd singles: Cade Mullins (A) defeats Landon Ramos 6-0, 6-0
3rd singles: Isaac Spar (A) defeats Justin Blackburn 6-0, 6-0
1st doubles: Miranda Wills/Nathan Hurtig (A) defeats Sam Stuckman/Levi Malone 7-5, 0-6, 7-6 (tiebreaker 7-2)
2nd doubles: Grant Bower/Keegan Hossler defeats defeats Acel Gamble/Adam Bailey (A) 7-5, 6-2
Ada (5-0 road) visits county rival Kenton Tuesday in a makeup match, the last dual contest of the season.
Ada plays at Defiance in the sectionals May 10/12. Beaschler and Mullins advanced to the districts last year, with Beaschler going on to state for the second time as well.
