January 1940 a senior Boy Scout troop was organized in Ada, made up of older boys from Troop 24. The new organization is taking up more advanced work in scouting and things of general interest to an older group. Joe Breck, a member of Ada’s old Troop No.1; Richard Wolfrom from Troop 24; and John Gobin, Eagle Scout from Johnstown, Pennsylvania were in charge of the work. Fifteen boys were present for the meeting. Clair Neiswander was senior patrol leader and Tommy Webb and Clair Motter, patrol leaders.
