Bulldog harriers post personal-bests at Kalida

KALIDA - The Ada cross country team ran well and finished 16th at the Kalida Invitational Saturday.
Senior Miguel Jordan led the Bulldogs as he finished 13th individually by covering the 3.1-mile course in 17:28.
"Kalida proved again this year to be in favor of Ada's runners," said Bulldog head coach Josh Klein. "Our top four male runners all set new personal records today as Ada finished in 16th place, edging out Allen East.
"Alexis Ennis also improved her time compared to Wednesday, running a 26:44."
Ada junior Michael Crouse came in 64th with a time of 19:40 to end up second for the Bulldogs. Freshman Riley Ferguson finished in 84th place with a time of 20:52.5.
Keegan Giddens ended up 101st with a time of 22:24. Senior Brice Ferguson finished in 109th place with a time of 27:48.1.
"Overall today was a great meet for the Bulldog runners," Klein summed up. "The weather and course were on our side, and this is exactly what we needed as we head into our last few meets of the season."
Ada runs in the Kenton Invitational Thursday, October 4 at 5 p.m.
