Bulldog golfers bury Gophers

BLUFFTON - The Ada golf team whipped Hardin County foe Ridgemont 199-254 Monday evening in a dual match to end their regular season on a high note at the Bluffton Golf Course.
It was Ada's third straight match with a team score under 200. The Bulldogs dominated by taking the top five spots in the match.
"The boys are looking to carry this momentum into the (upcoming) post-season tournaments," said Ada head coach Jason Campbell.
Bulldog junior Brevin Sizemore was first medalist with a score of 46. He finished strong with scores of five, five and three over the final three holes.
Ada junior Jacob Morgan tallied a score of 50 to finish second overall. Sophomore Dexter Woods was a close third with a round of 51.
Senior Alex Morgan finished fourth with a score of 52. Senior Ethan Hull was right behind him as he registered a 53.
Sophomore Kamron Wilkerson added a 57 to finish sixth and tie the top Gopher golfer, Collins.
The Ada overall record is now 6-16.
The Bulldogs next play at the Northwest Conference meet at Paulding Thursday, September 19, followed later on by the Div. III sectionals.
