She's now ONU's all-time career singles leader
Senior Mackenzie Wills was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of March 22-28.
Wills became Ohio Northern's all-time career singles victories leader, leading ONU to a 9-0 non-conference victory at Marietta on Saturday at Beran Tennis Center.
Wills won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for her school record 84th singles victory, breaking the previous record she shared with Meghan Letizia, who accomplished the feat from 2012-16.
She also won 8-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Wills is also second all-time at ONU with a career record of 165-48 and is 5th all-time with an 81-30 mark in doubles matches.
This is third time that Wills has been named the OAC Player of the Week in her career.
