Floyd Crowe retired from Rockwell International
Floyd E. Crowe, Jr., 80 passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 11:23 p.m. at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
He was born on Sept. 22, 1940, in Ada, to the late Floyd C. and Edna (Alter) Crowe. On June 18, 1961, Floyd married Marleen K. Oates, his wife of 60 years, and she survives in Dunkirk.
Floyd retired after working 33 years from Rockwell International, Kenton, he also farmed. He was a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Kenton.
As a young man Floyd showed parade ponies all across the United States winning many championships. He enjoyed fishing and camping at his pond with his family. He was always busy doing projects on the farm and was a hardworker. Floyd loved going to his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Also surviving are his three daughters: Theresa (Jeff) Price of Kenton, Tina (David) Fox of Forest and Tonya (Bo) Trusty of Sycamore; nine grandchildren: Amanda (Brett) Halsey, Matthew (Jessica) Price, Adrianne (Joe) Johnson, Amy (Levi) Brown, Ashley (Benjamin) Hammer, Adam (Amber) Fox, Andrew Trusty, Lynsey Trusty and Chelsey Trusty; seven great-grandchildren: Taylor, Landon, Nathan, Brody, Conner, Emmett and Cora; three brothers: Paul (Gwen) Crowe of Forest, Ivan (Terri) Crowe of Findlay and Wayne (Candace Lenhart) Crowe of Forest; and three sisters: Margaret Acheson of Ada, Jean (Wayne) Burnworth of Dunkirk and Marilyn (John Schiffler) Burnworth of Ada.
Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 14, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada, with Pastor Doug Flinn officiating.
Burial will be in Dunkirk Cemetery, Dunkirk. The funeral service for Floyd will be live streamed on the Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services Facebook Page beginning at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 14.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 13, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Kenton and/or the American Cancer Society and/or the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
