Local businesses claim Made in Ada sponsorships
The sixth annual Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival (Aug. 27), coordinated by the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce, has announced several key sponsorships by area businesses, including a major gift by a business still in development.
Old Route 69 Brewery, which will be located in the former Cole Motors building at 120 E. Buckeye, is the sponsor of the festival stage, a major expense for the event. On April 27, owner Troy Erickson presented a check to chamber director Lindsay Walden and president Becky Neville.
Entertainment on the Old Route 69 Brewery Stage has been sponsored by Liberty National Bank and Quest Federal Credit Union. The performance schedule is Voodoo Lane from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Shifferly Road Band from 7:00-10:00 p.m.
Ada VFW Post 9381 is the sponsor of the Punt, Pass, and Kick competition for the area youth. This competition will take place on the morning of the festival.
The Made in Ada Willson Football Festival will take place on Saturday, August 27. The event will also include food trucks, displays from the Wilson Football Factory, and the famous "Football Drop" at 10:00 p.m.
