Ada Schools opening for Building, Grounds, and Maintenance Supervisor
Ada Schools seeks a qualified candidate for the Building, Grounds, and Maintenance Supervisor position. Candidates must have the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or higher
- Strong Organizational planning and Management skills
- Skill/experience in preventive maintenance and repair procedures (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, etc)
- School or closely related maintenance experience
- Valid Driver’s License. Hold or must obtain a CDL Class B with a school bus endorsement
- Manages routine bus maintenance
- Skill/Experience in building systems (HVAC, Fire Suppression, Security, etc.)
- Maintains district grounds, landscaping, and athletic fields
- Maintains groundskeeping equipment
- Manages snow removal operations
- Manages compliance with fire, health, and safety/rules regulations
- Holds or is qualified to obtain a pesticide application license
