On January 9, Ada mayor David Retterer officially swore in Alec Cooper (center) as the new Chief of Police. On Tuesday evening, a second ceremony took place during the Ada council meeting with Cooper's friends and family, including several members of the Delphos Police Department. Retiring Chief Harnishfeger will continue to serve the department for another six months.
