D. Eloise Tighe was 99
D. Eloise Tighe, age 99, of Ada, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 11:50 p.m. at Vancrest of Ada.
She was born on November 7, 1923, in Hardin County, Ohio to the late C. Clay and Marie (Howard) Sieg. On October 14, 1944, Eloise married Frank Tighe and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2003.
Eloise is survived by her four children: Frank (Paula) Tighe of Annapolis, MD, Mike (Sue) Tighe of Lewis Center, Lin (Paul) Fletcher of Ada, and Laura Kinnear of Ada; ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Sieg; and two sisters: Eleanor Jane Garner, and Laura Marie Detwiler.
Eloise was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Ada. She previously worked at the Ada IGA. She was a 1941 graduate of Belle Center High School. Eloise enjoyed playing bridge. She dearly loved her family and friends.
A mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Ada, 300 East Highland Avenue, Ada, Ohio with Father Ed Shakina officiating. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
