Jeffery C. Allison was a professor of pharmacy
Dr. Jeffery C. Allison passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
Jeff was born September 27, 1948 in Altoona, PA, to the late John and Charlotte (Lynn) Allison.
He is survived by his children: Scott (Arlene) Allison of Ada and Shari (Patrick) Gibson of Johnstown; five grandchildren: Rob, Grace, Jillian, Lydia and Joey; and two brothers: Bruce (Janet) Allison and John (Roland) Allison. He was previously married to Nancy Wood Allison.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Machuga.
Jeff was a Professor of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University where he was the first recipient of the Doctor of Pharmacy degree. He previously worked at Gardner’s Drug Store and St. Rita’s Hospital. He loved pharmacy and especially teaching his skill at ONU. He served on the boards for the Hardin County Council on Aging, Beatitudes, and various pharmacy boards. Jeff never knew a stranger and had a joke ready for any situation. You could always find him outside perfecting his yard.
Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church, Ada.
