Ron and Patsy Evans to celebrate 70th wedding anniversary
Ron and Patsy Evans will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Dec. 23. The couple was married in 1955 at the First United Methodist Church of Ada. After their wedding, they went to the Kewpee in Lima, Ohio, and had hamburgers.
Patsy graduated from Ada High School, and Ron graduated from Vaughnsville. He worked at ONU as a math professor and she worked as a Head Start teacher and then as an assistant at Snyder, Alge and Welch law firm in Ada.
Ron and Patsy have four children, Dan (Angela), David (Sallie), Martha (David Nau), and Tom (Chris); Tom passed away in March 2025.
They also have 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
