Nickolas Asset Management has purchased Associated Plastics Corp., according to the Business Observer. The new parent company moved from Findlay, Ohio to Sarasota, Fla. in 2021.

Associated Plastics was incorporated in 1976 and is located at 502 Eric Wolber Ave. According to the Better Business Bureau, it has some 68 employees.

At the March 17 meeting of the Village of Ada Council, it was indicated that the business name has been changed to Configure Brands. At this meeting, Council unanimously approved a resolution authorizing the Enterprise Zone Administrator to renew tax incentives for the business through 2027. In 2024 this agreement provided tax savings of $12,113.

The company ... is a medium-sized injection molding facility and readily caters for small volume orders as well as large volume, long-term orders for OEMs and other manufacturers and distributors. With private road footage and within 10 miles of I-75, access to Associated Plastics Corp. is easy for shipping and receiving transport.

Equipment ranges from 32 to 2000 ton (30 Machines) and the company has staff who welcome the opportunity to provide engineering and design assistance to its customers. Administration and production planning and control for our injection molding facility are computerized.
