Katie Robinson named assistant Women's Soccer coach
Katie Robinson has been named the assistant women's soccer coach at Ohio Northern. Robinson also currently serves as the head coach of the U-15 and U-18 club teams at Ohio Premier.
Robinson joins the Polar Bears from Capital, where she served as an assistant for one season, helping the Crusaders make a run to the Final Four. Before coaching at Capital, Robinson served as a graduate assistant at Goucher (Md.) College from 2011-2013.
Robinson was a three-time All-OAC honoree at Capital from 2007-2009 and was named OAC Forward of the Year in 2008. She graduated from Capital in 2010 with a degree in athletic training and received her masters degree from Goucher in 2013.
"Katie is a fantastic addition to our staff," said head coach Mark Batman. "She brings a different perspective to our program and we are excited she chose to be a part of our family. We are looking forward to utilizing what she's learned the past few years as an assistant coach at both Goucher College as well as Capital University."
