Men’s swimming/diving now 6-0
ADA — Senior Braden Kuhn (Tiffin/Columbian) qualified for the NCAA Diving Regionals, leading the Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team to a 225-68 win over Oberlin Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium.
The Polar Bears improve to 6-0 overall, while the Yeomen fall to 0-6.
Kuhn won the 1-meter diving with 276.85 points for six dives. It marks the second time this season that Kuhn has surpassed the NCAA standard of 275.00 points on the 1-meter board.
Kuhn is now qualified for the NCAA III Diving Regionals March 2-3 at the University of Chicago.
Kuhn also won the 3-meter diving with 250.50 points to complete the sweep.
Senior Ian Simpson (Strongsville) and junior Pete He (Mason) each won four events for ONU.
