A profile of Mark Light
My name is Mark Light, a 4-H educator with OSU Extension in Hardin County. My focus of educating for the community includes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Social Media and Technology.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ONU and a master’s degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State.
My family and I live in Ada. While attending ONU, I met Kim, my wife of 22 years. She is the Ada School treasurer. We have two children: Megan a freshman and Justin is senior at AHS.
My favorite part of extension is being a Buckeye and able to work for OSU without living in Columbus.
Common questions that I receive may involve 4-H, technology, computers, and social media.
I work with 4-H, Junior Fair Board, After School Tech Wizards, and Tech Tuesdays.
I can be reached at 1021 W. Lima St. in Kenton, 419-674-2297, or email [email protected].
