Women’s lacrosse player outstanding in OAC
ONU junior Emily Hershberger (Jackson Township/Jackson) has been named the Women's Lacrosse Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her efforts on the field last week. The All-OAC honoree earned the honor for the first time in her career.
Hershberger led the defensive unit for ONU with 15 ground balls in Northern's contests against Carthage (Wis.), Sewanee (Tenn.) and Cleary (Mich.).
The junior also forced eight turnovers and won six draw controls to lead ONU.
The Polar Bears return to action on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. as they welcome Siena Heights (Mich.) to Dial-Roberson.
