On January 7, family, friends, colleages and former Ada Schools student athletes gathered to honor Gregory Grimslid (a.k.a. Griz) as the newest member of the Hall of Honor. With a new plaque adorning the wall of honorees inside the south entrance, the reception gave the community an opportunity to thank Grimslid for his outstanding service.

In turn, the Sidney High School graduate spoke of having gone to 10 schools in his own 12 years of grade school, Grimslid said that one of the reasons he stayed in Ada, after graduating with a law degree from Ohio Northern, was because of the schools.

The event was emceed by Britton Devier, an AHS graduate who noted his own gratitude to Grimslid.
