The top ten classic love songs for Valentine’s Day 

No matter how you plan on spending the day, whether it’s getting comfy for a Valentine’s Day movie or a romantic dinner at home, stay safe

Often even the best Valentine’s Day plans fail. In a year when going out to celebrate love is difficult, what is one to do? Thankfully, there are tons of great singers who can put a little romance in your life even while you are sitting at home.

Be Mine Around the World Wine and Dine event Feb. 13

The Inn at ONU is taking reservations for its “Around the World Be Mine," wine and dine event next week.

The sampling is from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Feb.. 13, at The Inn, 401 W. College Ave., Ada.

The evening includes a six-course meal paired with wines selected for the evening. 

Wine commentary will be provided during the evening by Diana Kerr Brown, an industry wine expert. Live music is also part of the event.

Wine will be available for purchase during the evening.

We experienced 3.9 inches of weekend snowfall

January's temperatures ranged from 11 to 46 degrees

The area experienced 3.9 inches of snowfall on Jan. 30 and 31, according to Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer.

That total brings January’s snowfall to 8. 1 inches, believe it or not. Meanwhile, aside from snowfall, the average January 2021 daily temperature was 29. 5 degrees, with the normal January average at 25.4.

Temperatures ranged from a high on 46 on Jan. 14, to a low of 11 on Jan. 23.  The daily weather summary is in the chart below.

Play in it, blow it or leave alone
