Blanchard Plesant Buckeyes 4-H Club organizes

The Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes met on Monday, April 8 in the Hardin Northern Ag building.  Recreation for the night was a game teaching the new members the 4-H pledge. Leading the meeting was president Megan Miller.  Pledge of Allegiance was led by Zander Richardson and the 4-H Pledge by Hayden Sampson. Roll call was your favorite pizza topping.  There were 57 total present, 43 members, 6 advisors, and 8 guests.

Hardin County Wranglers organize for 2019


The Hardin County Wranglers 4-H club held its second meeting on April 7th, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hardin County Extension Office.

There were thirteen members, six advisors and four parents present. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Jace Murphy and the 4-H Pledge was led by  Katie Sturgeon.

Reminders were given for informational packets and club registration. Club calendars were distributed.

Hardin Hoppers and The Barnyard Friends 4-H meet

The Hardin Hoppers and The Barnyard Friends 4-H clubs have several new members this year, with a total of seventeen members.

For their community service project, the club will walk around the coon hunters' club pond.

The club will have a nature-themed booth at the county fair, and also be making 4-H t-shirts this year.

Clovers vs. sheriff’s office in competition shoot Saturday

The Hardin County Clovers take on the Hardin County Sheriff’s office in a friendly competition shoot from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 6, at the Hog Creek Game Club, rural Ada. The event promotes 4-H shooting sports clubs and firearm safety.

Activities include a rifle and shotgun competition, 4-H shooting, and firearms demonstration from the sheriff’s office. 

Goshen Youth 4-H Club meets 

Goshen Youth 4-H Club will kick off the 2019 4-H season with a sign-up meeting at the First Baptist Church, 11543 Co Rd 175, Kenton at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 31.

This is a meeting for returning and new members to get a chance to sign up for online enrollment, computers will be available. 

Advisers will be available to answer questions about projects, and help families choose projects for the 2019 4-H season.

Meet the 2019 Ada Barnyard Farmers 4-H Club officers

The Ada Barnyard Farmers 4-H Club held our second meeting of the year on Sunday, March 10.

We started our meeting with roll call to take attendance, followed by The pledge of Allegiance and our 4-H pledge.

There were demonstrations given by Riley Ferguson, Brody Erickson, Wyatt Ferguson, and myself.

We also had our election of officers, we voted on our 4H binder covers for best cover, and we also voted on a new t-shirt design! As always we wrapped our meeting up with a snack and refreshments!
