Jumbo Jr. Farmers was held Monday

The monthly meeting for the Jumbo Jr. Farmers was held Monday, July 10th at the McDonald Township Hall.  The meeting was started by the 4-H Pledge being led by Claire Ketcham and the Pledge of Allegiance which was led by Drew Hoppe.  At the meeting the group was given presentations by Kathryn Osborn on her County Demonstration project and some tips for members while judging.  Our other presentation was given by Claire Ketcham on her cooking project where she made Trail Mix samples for the group to try.  Also at the meeting we finished our fair entries for the upcoming 2017 Hardin County Fair. 

Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes 4H meeting held

The Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes 4-H Club held a meeting on Monday, July 10th, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hardin Northern Ag Building. Recreation for the evening was playing outside led by Makenna Eibling. Preston Wykes led the 4-H Pledge, and Carl Woodruff led the Pledge of Allegiance.

There were 33 members, 7 advisers, and 4 guests. Clover Award sheets were turned in. Bob McBride went over what should be completed in the individual's books for judging. Vern Woodruff Jr. presented a demonstration on rockets. Carl Woodruff demonstrated his project on Science Chemistry. Heidi Trachsel also gave a presentation on sewing and ironing. Leif Trachsel led trivia.

4H presentation on Tuesday

The Ada Liberty Belles and Boys 4H Club members will present their projects at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, at the Ada Presbyterian Church prior to county judging later this month. The public is welcome to attend.

Liberty Belles and Boys meeting held

Liberty Belles and Boys held their eighth meeting for the 2017 season on Tuesday, June 20. 

We had a meeting with our families about judging.  We had some livestock demonstrations as well. 

At the end, we split into groups to talk about our project(s).  

The next meeting will be Tuesday, July 11, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Ada First Presbyterian Church.

Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes met

The Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes meant Monday evening, June 19th, at the Hardin Northern Ag Building.  The meeting consisted of 23 members, 8 advisors, and 5 guests.  Recreation that night was limbo led by Makenna Ebling.  The 4-H pledge was also led by Makenna Ebling and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Alyssa Heldman.

Kylee Clem led role call.  Katie Good also baked and frosted a cake and brought it in to tell us how to properly bake and frost a cake.  Mara Ruhlen and Renee Newton also gave a demonstration on rabbits.  Vern Woodruff also brought up the topic of the demonstration contest and deadlines for that.

Cessna Minutemen 4-H Club meeting held

The Cessna Minutemen 4-H club held a meeting on June 5, 2017.

The meeting was called to order by Zac Briendenbach.  Wade Crooks led the Pledge of Allegiance  and Will Jones led the 4-H Pledge.  Bradley Flowers did the roll call and the question was "your favorite football team".  The Treasurer reported that some members still need to pay for the 4-H project books and 4-H dues.  The Health & Safety Report was about "Don't drink too much coffee".  A demonstration was given by Emily Jones, Will Jones and Bradley Flowers with their chicken, goose and turkey projects.  The Recreation Leaders let the club know that Tag would be held after the meeting.
