"Sustaining Our World,” spring garden seminar, will be held Thursday, March 21, at the Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative Community Room, 1210 W Lima St., Kenton. The cost is $40 which includes a continental breakfast, lunch, handouts and door prizes.

The Ada Senior Citizens will meet Wednesday, March 13, at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Community Health Professionals. Kathy Jo Dove will present a program, “CBD Oil and Its Uses.”
Those who have heard Kathy said they learned a lot about how to deal with challenges we face as our bodies are aging.
President Cloe Cole will conduct the business meeting. Euchre and other card and board games will follow. Refreshments will be furnished by Judy Magee.
FROM BLUFFTON ICON - Tickets are now on sale for a Bluffton Family Recreation repeat performance of “Dueling for Dumbbells,” which takes place from 6 to 11:30 p.m., Friday, April 5, at The Centre, 601 N. Main St., Bluffton.
The evening is a casual night of live entertainment to benefit BFR, featuring hors doeuvres, snacks and an open bar starting at 6 p.m. Daniel Tinch, BFR executive director, promises that this year’s hors doeuvres will be "out of this world."
Dueling Pianos International will perform starting at 7:30 p.m.
Hardin County OSU Extension’s announces a “Computerized Farm Record Keeping Workshops using Quicken.”
A series of two workshops will be held at the Hardin County Extension office, 1021 W Lima St., Kenton, on Fridays, March 15, and March 22 from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
That’s the theme of a special evening for Ada Kindergarteners through third graders who have signed up in advance.
The action is from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the school cafeteria. A team of Ada teachers will be present and will guide students through activities during the evening.
According to an information sheet on the event:
“Our own Mr. Lusk along with his education students from ONU will present five engaging science centers.
“Students will travel to learn about the polar bears at the top of the world to the clouds at the top of the sky.”
