Here's a clever way to provide a quick reference guide to Ohio Northern University. Not every university in the U.S. could pull this off. The Icon saw it on the ONU website.

A – Alumni: ONU’s alumni base is 32,000 strong and includes graduates from all 50 states and 63 countries. They provide support and ongoing opportunities for current and future students.

One person dead in Mt. Victory accident

One person died in a two-vehicle accident at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, on South Main Street (SR 31), Mt. Victory, according to the Hardin County Sheriff's office.

The sheriff's report follows:
At 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, the sheriff received a 911 call reporting a two vehicle crash on South Main, State Route 31, Mt. Victory.

Upon arrival, deputies found a south-bound commercial vehicle had collided with a north-bound passenger vehicle.

The driver of the commercial truck, Maurice Hale of Detroit, was not injured. The driver of the passenger car, Annie Li Yang of Lansing, Michigan, was deceased at the scene.

Teens: come play board games at the library on Thursday

Teens are invited to play board games together at Ada Public Library this Thursday, June 27, at 3 p.m. This activity is specifically geared towards sixth through twelfth graders, and will introduce modern board games, such as King of Tokyo, Sushi Go and Star Wars version of Risk (among others), to teens.

Attendees will receive a ticket to win prizes.

Ada business on the move

Proof that lots of little stories make one large story about business in a small town

Ada business is on the move this summer.

Several little stories, when combined, make a larger story, showing that business  movement. Here’s some of the items mentioned at last week’s Ada Area Chamber of Commerce meeting relating to business in the community:

Jamie Hall, village administrator, announced that midnight swims at the Ada Pool are offered on Tuesdays.

He added that the Municipal Building will have a workable elevator soon and remodeling is continuing on the inside of the building.

Jodi Goodman, Midwest Rehab, said that Midwest recently hired an occupational therapy assistant.

Local students on Bluffton University spring dean’s list

Bluffton University has announced the dean’s list for undergraduate students for the spring 2019 term. Students with a GPA of 3.6 or higher are eligible for the dean’s list.

Bluffton University students from our area named to the dean’s list are:

Blake Obenour, Dunkirk
Taylor Ramey, Ada

Students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75 based on 20 semester hours
received dean’s list with distinction for continued high achievement.
