Liberty Belles & Boys 4-H Club held their first meeting of the 2017 season on Tuesday, March 21.
There were 3 advisors and 22 members in attendance. The meeting included playing games that helped the members learn each other's names.
The club also voted on their 2017 Officers. They are as follows: Colin Nash/President, Melina Woods/Vice-President, Selena Gomez-Jordan/Secretary, Megan Light/Treasurer, Andrew Rorabaugh/Health Leader, Jackson Brown/Reporter, Kiley Bailey/Photographer, Morgan Dirmeyer, Jack Baumgartner, & Wes Allen/Recreation, Tess Griffith/Citizenship, and Kylie Nash/Safety Leader.
The calendar lists home pages for all varsity spring sports. Another way to access the calendar is to place your curser over the word "Calendar" on the black scroll bar at the top of the home page.
The "sports" calendar will appear in a drop down choice.
Tickets are still available for Ada's annual Athletic Booster Reverse Raffle, according to Tracie Amburgey. Someone attending the raffle will go home with $10,000.
This year's raffle is at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 8, at the Harrod Community Center.
Tickets are $100 each and provide ticket holders to the raffle and meal. A second tickets may be purchased for an additional $20.
In addition to the raffle, the evening includes, games and live auction items.
If you love auctions, you won’t want to miss this one. As of Monday afternoon there were nearly 75 items on the auction block.

The Ohio Northern University Law College public interest auction is from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 31 in the Large Moot Courtroom.
The event, open to the publicl, includes a buffet sandwich bar and a silent auction starting at 5 p.m. The live auction begins at 6 p.m.
Proceeds from the auction provide scholarships to help with expenses of qualified students working in unpaid public interest legal positions over the summer.
Joe Edward Patton, age 89, died on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 6:07pm at Birchaven Nursing Home, Findlay
He was born on February 12, 1928 in Hueysville, Kentucky to M.F. and Pearlie (Prater) Patton. His parents preceded him in death, his step-mother, Dorsie Patton survives in Eastern, KY. On December 31, 1945 Joe married Earnesteen Hicks and she preceded him in death on December 13, 1992. He later married A. McDowell and she preceded him in death.

Interstate 75 both northbound and southbound, Lima, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone on Tuesday, March 28, and Wednesday, March 29, for review of pavement under warranty.
John F. Tafe, age 66, died on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 9:45am at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born on November 7, 1950 in Providence, Rhode Island to John F. and Mary C. (Coughlin) Tafe II who preceded him in death. On June 10, 1972 John married Sue C. Hilton and she survives in Ada.
John was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran who served from 1969 to 1989. After he retired from the Air Force John worked for Proctor & Gamble of Lima, he retired after working 20 years. He loved camping and doing woodworking. He was an avid gun enthusiast. John loved his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy.
