The Ohio Northern women's soccer team jumped two spots to No. 15 in the United Soccer Coaches poll, and moved into the top-25 at No. 19 in the D3Soccer.com poll, both released Tuesday, Oct. 10.

Apollo Career Center is hosting an Ice Cream and Explore Day for students and their grandparents Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Students will act as their grandparents' tour guides for program visits and campus exploration. The visit will culminate with one-on-one time over ice cream in the Apollo Commons. To date, over 350 grandparents have signed up for the event.
Take a little extra money with you next time you attend a soccer match because Beta Club members will collect money for victims of hurricanes Harvey and Irma at the game that begins at 5 p.m. on Thursday at War Memorial Park.
The donations will be added to the $80 that the club collected at a football game on Sept. 8.

BEXLEY — The No. 17-ranked Ohio Northern volleyball team used a balanced offensive scoring attack on Friday evening as it swept Capital 3-0 at Performance Arena.
The Polar Bears improve to 17-4 overall and 2-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Crusaders fall to 9-13, 1-3.
Sophomores Chelsea Huppert (Bremen, Ind.), Sydney Bapst (Grove City) and McKenna Jordan (Toledo/St. Ursula) paced ONU offensively, with 17, 10 and 10 kills, respectively.
