MEDIA RELEASE__The Hardin County Master Gardener Volunteer Annual Plant Sale will take place on Saturday, May 16 from 10:00 a.m.-noon at the Friendship Gardens.

The gardens are located at 960 West Kohler Street, Kenton, OH 43326.

MEDIA RELEASE__St. Mark Lutheran Church, located at the corner of Lincoln and Johnson Streets in Ada, will be serving up its monthly Community meal this Wednesday, March 25, from 5 to 6:30. 

The meal is free and open to the public. 

This month, the menu is shepherd's pie, roll, fruit, and a cookie.  As always, you may dine in, carry out, or drive up for curbside service.

The Ada School Board met on Thursday, March 19 with board president Matt Gossman presiding. The meeting packet is available HERE.

ROOF REPAIRS
Jon Plattner from Cotterman & Company Inc. made a presentation on the roof work needed on the older section of the school. Lance Dearth, the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, shared that they have continued to repair sections where shingles have blown off. 

Eugene Royer, 1929-2026

Eugene Royer, age 96, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Logan Acres Care Center, Bellefontaine.

He was born on October 31, 1929, in Roundhead, Ohio, to the late Ted and Thelma Royer. On October 13, 1951, Eugene married Mariann Wienken, and she passed away on September 28, 2024.
