This month, they will read the book "How to Sell a Haunted House" by Grady Hendrix. It'll take more than some new paint to get this place on the market, but some houses don't want to be sold...

MEDIA RELEASE__The Sheila Coressel for State Representative - Ohio 83rd Cups & Conversation Tour is heading to Ada for its fourth stop on a five-stop tour across the district.
Coressel invites area residents to join her Saturday, October 10, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Starbucks, 534 S. Main St. Grab a coffee and have a conversation with the candidate.

NORTHWOOD__The visiting Ada High School boys soccer team ended a six-game road swing on a high note by beating new North Central Ohio Soccer Association member Northwood 6-1 on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The Bulldogs improved to 7-6-1 overall and finished 2-4 in the rugged NCOSA after the road win. Miller City leads the league at 4-0.
Northwood fell to 4-10-1 and 1-3 in the NCOSA after the home loss.
Ada led 4-1 at halftime and was never seriously threatened. Senior speedster Andrew Allen pumped in four goals to pace the onslaught.

• NWO Urgent Care on September 29, 2026 between 2:30-5:30 p.m.
• Blanchard Valley Hospital Emergency Department on September 29, 2026 between 3:30-6:30 p.m.
BLOOMDALE__The visiting Ada High School football team beat Elmwood 64-53 in a seesaw Blanchard Valley Conference shootout on Friday, Oct. 2.
Ada led 42-41 after the third period, then pulled away late with a 22-12 finishing kick to win by 11.
Bulldog senior quarterback Blake Zoladz threw three touchdown passes and ran for three more TDs. He accounted for 437 yards in total offense.
The Bulldogs improved to 5-2 overall and 3-2 in BVC play with the back-and-forth win that helped solidify their playoff chances with three games left in the regular season.
FROM ONUSPORTS.COM__The Ohio Northern men's and women's track and field will kick off its indoor campaign on Friday, Dec. 4 at the Findlay Oiler Opener under first-year head coach Molly Amidon.
Following the holiday break, the Polar Bears host their first home event of the season, the 3rd Annual Rob and Patty Lydic Invitational, on Friday, Jan. 15, at the Sports Center.

Helms leads the ONU football team with 33 tackles this season from his linebacker position and has been a key element in the team's 3-0 OAC start.
BOWLING GREEN __Two Ada High School boys competed in the Div. III Northwest district tournament at Stone Ridge Golf Club on Thursday, Oct. 1 in Bowling Green.
Bulldog senior Brody Rister finished in a four-way tie for 66thplace in the very tough field of 108 golfers after carding a 47-44=91 round.
Sophomore Arden Shook ended up in a three-way tie for 82nd after shooting a round of 46-49=95.
