MEDIA RELEASE__Eighteen Ada FFA Members traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana to the 98th National FFA Convention and Expo, October 29 through November 1. The Ada FFA Chapter stayed four days and three nights and had a packed schedule of exciting activities.
They toured RDM Shrimp Farm and learned all about how the owner built this business from the ground up. Shortly after that, they went to a performance put on by Ernest and Ella Langley.
ADA__The Ada High School girls basketball team fell 53-40 to visiting Leipsic in the Blanchard Valley Conference opener on Tuesday, November 25.
Leipsic freshman Kya Brandt poured in a game-high 28 points to pace the victors. She consistently scored seven points in each of the four quarters.
“We started out slow and struggled with their pressure in the first half, but I felt like we showed some growth in the second half,” said Bulldog girls head coach Zach Ricker.
“We have some positives to take away from it,” he added.

Seventh graders submitted a project and carefully prepared poster presentations. From hands-on experiments to confident explanations, students blended science and speaking skills in this learning experience.
The event was made possible by the support of volunteer judges.
