In a season headlined by seven combined event conference titles, two NCAA Indoor All-Americans, an NCAA individual champion, and a pair of top-tier finishes in the OAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships, the Ohio Northern men's track and field program registered another impressive season under ninth-year head coach Jason Maus during the 2017-2018 campaign.
The Polar Bears would conclude the indoor season with a 33-17 overall record, which they followed up with a similar 36-16 finish in outdoor venues.
It may be mid-July, but the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce board is thinking about late summer and early fall events.
The board meets at 8 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, in the Dean's Heritage Room in McIntosh Center on the ONU campus, according to Heather Cox, board president.
On the agenda include a discussion of several upcoming events. Those include a sidewalk sale and car show, Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival and the Harvest and Herb Festival.

Ada midget football, Ada youth flag football and Ada youth cheerleading sign-ups for the 2018 season will be held on Wednesday, July 11, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Ada Park Building (Brown building on the corner right before the football stadium).
The Ada Barnyard Farmers 4-H Club will hold its annual garage sale/bake sale fundraiser at 824 S. Johnson St. from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday. Proceeds will be used for the end-of-the year party and other projects. Donations are accepted, as well. The club is led by advisors, Amy Stover, Rachael Underwood, Chad Hazelton and Jamie Hazelton.
Tommy Tire's customer appreciation day is from noon to 5 p.m., Friday, July 20, at the 319 N. Main St., Bluffton location, according to Tom Dotson.
As in previous years, the event includes an exotic animal exhibit from Jungle island Zoo.
New this year is a free lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. served by the A to Z Meats food truck. In addition, free homemade ice cream from Lugibihl's will be served.
