An special event is on the school calendar nearly every day in May as the school year winds down. Here's a look at activities in the middle and high school now until the end of school.

Ada midget football, Ada youth flag football and Ada youth cheerleading sign-ups for the 2018 season takes place Tuesday, May 15, from 6-7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Ada Park Building (Brown building on the corner right before the football stadium).
This will be for youth entering grades 3rd through 6th for 2018-2019 school year.
Hardin County – For the time period of April 15-30, Extension rainfall reporters recorded an average of 1.56 inches of rain in Hardin County. Last year, the average rainfall for the same time period was 3.16 inches. Rainfall for the April 15-30 time period is 0.61 inches less than the ten year average rainfall during the same dates.
Robert Sandy “Red” Anspach, age 57, died on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1:38 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima after an extended illness.
He was born on June 18, 1960 to Walter D. “Red” and Darlene (Yinger) Anspach. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Ocala, Florida. In December of 1984 Sandy married Cindy Crozier and she survives in Harrod.
Lloyd Sanford Kindle, age 62, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his residence in Ada, Ohio.
He was born on October 4, 1955 in Lima, Ohio to the late George L. and Vera (Wingate) Kindle Jr.
Lloyd worked for Otis Wright Recycling for twenty years. He was a member of the NRA. Lloyd was a graduate of Hardin Northern High School class of 1973.
He is survived by two grandchildren; and several aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maysa.
There will be no services it was his wish to be cremated.
