Ada's latest news

Gatekeepers, the newly-formed Ada chapter of the American Mental Health Alliance, encourages Ada students K-12 and staff to wear maroon and/or silver tomorrow (Tuesday) in honor and memory of those affected by the school shooting in Florida. Maroon (or burgundy) and silver are the school colors of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland where the tragedy occurred.

It's 1903 and here's Ada's Pennsylvania Railroad passenger depot, on the double-track Chicago to New York line. What's changed since then? Now there is only one track. There's only freight trains, but the depot continues its over-one-century presence in Ada. John Marshall provided this photo to the Icon.

The Icon spotted this Allen County plate in Bluffton recently. It's apparently for the boys.
