The Village Voice: Don't forget to vote Nov. 4
Early voting on the November ballot is underway in Ohio, and local citizens have a number of initiatives to consider. For more information on voting, issues and candidates, please visit the Hardin County Board of Elections website at http://co.hardin.oh.us/boe/.
Included on the ballot is a Village of Ada proposed municipal income tax renewal. This proposed levy is for a continuation of the current 0.15% levy on income tax, so it does not result in an increase in taxes. The stated purpose of the levy is for repairs, maintenance, operations and improvements at the Village of Ada’s swimming pool.
The pool levy, as it is often called, was first passed in 1995, for a length of 20 years. The current levy expires on December 31, 2014. Passage of the levy in November will extend the levy for another 20 years.
Election Day is November 4th! If you have any questions regarding voting, please contact the Hardin County Board of Elections at 419-674-2211.
