The Ada High School boys soccer team put together a great turnaround season in 2024 by winning 14 games, the most in almost two decades for a Bulldog soccer squad.
Now the task for 2025 and beyond is to carry that momentum forward.
Along with returning talent, Bulldog alumnus Aaron Acheson engineered much of the season revival in his first year as head coach with high energy, positivity and soccer knowledge.
KENTON__The Ada High School golf team decisively defeated county rival Hardin Northern in a dual match at the Veterans Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton on Friday, August 15.
The Bulldogs defeated the Polar Bears, 202-217. Ada evened its dual match record at 1-1 with the win.
“We continue to improve each match and while we’re still not scoring to our potential, we are starting to at least score closer to our average,” said head coach Tod Schmidt.
FROM AACC EMAIL UPDATE__The August 20 meeting of Ada Area Chamber of Commerce members will feature a special presentation from Mike Springer of Wilson Football, who will share insights and stories from one of Ada’s most iconic brands.

AUG 14 MEDIA RELEASE__ The United Way of Hardin County launched its 2025/2026 campaign with the annual Day of Caring on August 15, bringing together 40 volunteers to make a meaningful impact at six local work sites across the county.
ADA__Coming off a second straight season where they set a program record for wins, the deep and talented Ada High School varsity girls soccer team is poised to take another step forward under fourth-year head coach Doug Dewese in 2025.
The 2024 Bulldog girls posted a 10-8 overall record to set a program record for single-season wins. The Bulldog girls also went 1-4 in the rugged NCOSA standings last fall.
