FROM ONU WEBSITE - Ever since exercise physiology major Wil Rankin fell in love with football as a player, he knew he never wanted to leave football behind.
That’s why he decided to pursue a career in strength and conditioning. His ultimate goal? To become a strength and conditioning coach for a Division I college football team.
Thanks to his networking expertise and determined efforts, he was able to try his dream on for size the summer before his senior year as a strength and conditioning intern for the University of Oregon football team.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office has received grant funding for deputies
to work the High Velocity Traffic Enforcement Program on overtime hours for
the program year Oct.1, 2020 through Sept. 30, 2021, according to Dennis Burns, chief deputy with the department.
Gerken Paving of Bluffton is working on four streets in Ada this week. Here new asphalt is being laid on a portion of West Highland. Other streets on the schedule include Edwards, Liberty and Willow Parkway.

In late October Ada will hold an event with masks required and few participants are complaining.
Mayor Dave Retterer announced that trick-or-treating will take place in the village from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29.
Like most Ohio communities, Ada awaited the covid-19 guidelines from the governor’s office before making an announcement. That green light arrived last week.
