Betty Moore 1935-2016
Betty L. Moore, 81, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at 7:46 p.m. at Lima Rehab and Nursing Center, Lima.
She was born on Feb. 11, 1935, in Martin, Kentucky, to John N. and Lucinda (Ratliff) Patton who preceded her in death. On Aug. 21, 1953, she married Columbus Moore and he survives in Harrod.
Betty was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church of Belle Center.
Also surviving are two sons: Junior (Linda) Moore of Lima and John (Melissa) Moore of Kenton; two daughters: Geneva (Paul) Mullins of Lima and Jennifer (Butch) Sheldon of Harrod; four grandchildren: Tony (Daniell) Sheldon, Olivia (Bob) Poe, Crystal (Matt) Buchannan and Wesley Moore; nine great grandchildren: Wyatt, Hunter, Trent, Garrett, Damion, Angel, Gabriel, Seth and Sara; two sisters: Etta (Don) Elliott of Tippecanoe, Ind., and Pauline Cole of Oregon, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: Gene, Buck, Temp and Billy Patton; and two sisters: infant sister, Deidra Patton and Louise Gunnels.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, at Pentecostal Tabernacle Church, 13853 State Route 235 South, Belle Center, with Pastor David Mowery officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Roundhead Township.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger ,and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pentecostal Tabernacle Church 13853 State Route 235, Belle Center, OH 43310.
