American Cancer Society is calling on community members to participate in the annual Relay For Life of Hardin County on July 13 at Kenton Town Square, Courthouse.
The Society is seeking volunteers to form teams and stand shoulder to shoulder with us and cancer patients and those supporting them.
Vendors and food trucks are welcome to participate in this event. Event sponsors are still needed.

ADA — The Ohio Northern softball team picked up a 3-1 victory in game one before falling 8-1 in the nightcap and clinched the No. 3 seed in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day in the 2018 home regular season finale on Saturday afternoon.
The Polar Bears move to 27-7 overall, and 13-5 in the OAC, while the Muskies move to 24-10, 10-8.

The Ada 5th, 6th, and Junior High Bands as well as the 6th grade and Junior High choir will perform their final concert of the year Tuesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.
In addition to the large ensemble performances, junior high and high school instrumentalists will perform solo and ensemble selections throughout the evening..
The 6th grade band will perform selections from Star Wars, The Sound of Music, and Harry Potter. Junior High Band selections include the theme from Sponge Bob Square Pants, To Conquer the Kraken, and the Red Masque.
For the first time in school history, the Ohio Northern women's track and field team has won back-to-back Ohio Athletic Conference titles in the outdoor meet after claiming first place in the 2018 OAC Championships on Saturday afternoon at Kerscher Stadium.
The Polar Bears took the team title with 166 points, while Mount Union took second place with 154 points, narrowly edging Otterbein who finished third with 153.5 points.
ADA — Senior Matt Molinaro (Sterling Heights, Mich./DeLaSalle) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Distance Runner of the Year as he helped guide the ONU men's track and field team to a third place finish at the 2018 OAC Championships at Kerscher Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Mount Union won the team title with 212 points, while John Carroll was second with 162 points and ONU rounded the top three with 95 team points.
The third place finish marks the fifth consecutive season that the Polar Bears have finished in the top-3 at the meet.
