Nearly 2,000 people – entertainers, spectators, and volunteers – are expected to walk through the doors of Ada Schools during the 40th annual Ada Music Feast Show Choir Invitational Competition on Saturday, Nov. 4.
The show choir competition is one of the longest-running exhibitions of its kind and each year draws some of the top high school singers/dancers in Ohio and Indiana.
This year's schedule:

10:00 a.m., North Royalton
10:30 a.m., South Dearborn
11:00 a.m., Alliance
12:45 p.m., Riverdale
1:15 p.m., Olentangy Orange

2:15 p.m., Findlay
3:30 p.m., Daytime awards ceremony
5:30 p.m., Evening finals competition begins

Each show choir performs a set of songs between 15-20 minutes in length with two to three costume changes in that time. John Shuffle will be MC for the 15th year, welcoming the singer/dancers, instrumentalists, and stage crew members to the contest in the auditorium.
The Ada Varsity Singers exhibition performance is free to attend. The local group is directed by Scott Henning, vocal music, and Jonathan Lischak, instrumental.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 Golden Buckeye senior citizens, $5 students K-12 for the daytime competition.
There is a separate admission charge for the evening finals of $10 adults, $7 seniors, $5 students.
Combination passes, for both day and evening shows, are $20 adults and $10 seniors or students.
It takes about 300 volunteers to help with the all-day event. To volunteer, go to adamusicboosters.org and click on Music Feast.
