Gator swim season almost upon us
Sign-ups for the Ada Summer Swim Team will be held Wednesday, May 9, and Monday, May 14, from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 301 N. Main St.
Swimmers from ages 5 to 18 are invited to join the Ada Gators. The cost is $55/child, with a $5 credit for each additional family member. The fee gives one a pass to swim at the pool only during team practices. This cost includes one ad per family in the championship heat sheet. A $10 late fee will be assessed for those who register after May 28.
A representative from Poco Loco Swim Shop will be available at the first sign-up on May 9 for swim suit orders, caps and/or goggles. This is a new swim suit year.
Morning practices are held Monday through Friday at the Ada pool beginning as soon as school is out, hopefully May 28. The first meet will be June 11 and Swim Championships this year are July 13 and 14 at the Wapakoneta municipal pool. For more information, contact Sheila Baumgartner, Susan Stuart at 419-296-3217 or Christy Beaschler at 419-236-5340.
