BBQ pulled pork dinner fundraiser Saturday
A BBQ pulled pork fundraising dinner for Porcelain Ministries will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday at the Ada Church of Christ Disciples, 316 S. Main. Tickets are $8. Walk-ins welcome while supply lasts.
Porcelain Ministries provides pregnancy and parenting resources for any Hardin County area mom in a struggling situation while pregnant or with a new-born infant.
Volunteers help moms connect with ob/gyn and pregnancy resources and pediatrician and baby resources, as well as providing hands-on parent and baby care training, transportation assistance, and a personalized plan toward independence.
Why the name Porcelain Ministries? God's hands are constantly shaping us. Even when the shape of our lives fall apart, we are not thrown away as scraps, but lovingly put back on the wheel. Like porcelain clay, with gentle pressure working with the clay, and exposure to just the right heat, we can become the shape we were intended to be.
