Once upon a time in Ada

Thirty-one area children between the ages of 6-17 were taught soccer skills, team tactics, and rules of the game during a three-day camp held at Ohio Northern University.
The camp, first of its kind in this area, was organized by ONU soccer coach Amar Bhattacharya (17th year) and his assistant Mike Varga, ONU law student and assisted by ONU soccer players
Nate Ulrey, age 10 and the son of Jim and Barb Ulrey of Ada, was singled out by Coach Battacharya as being an outstanding player. Other players were Jay Ream, Chris Alger, Nathan Preston, Daniel Goodwin, Sean Goodwin, Jay Caldwell, Natalie Mankey, Melinda Pohlmeyer, Luke Elsasser, Mike Hall, Nickolas Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Nick Alger, Jon Alger, Ben Alger, Matt Nickolas, Jeff Keiffer, Joshua Brazen, Quinn Pifer, Shaun Hood, Jared Wolf, Tony Lyle, Billy Putt, Ryan Ulrey, Nathan Goldberg, Erin Goldberg, Scott Seely, Aaron Acheson, Aaron Avallone and Christopher Bailey.
