Ada Kindergarteners tackle a science experiment

FROM ADA BULLDOGS FACEBOOK - Here are some little scientists at work in Mrs. Smittle's kindergarten class.

Mrs. McAlpine taught a lesson using cabbage juice and regular kitchen items to change the color of the cabbage juice. She had a recording sheet for the students to record their observations.

Each student had five plastic test tubes with cabbage juice. The first one had nothing added to the cabbage juice. The students added vinegar (an acid) to the juice.

In the third container, the students added baking soda (a base). In the fourth test tube the students added sugar.
