Jenny Grant, with a little help from her husband, Rhett, painted the big front window of the Ada Public Library for the window decorating contest.
You don't often associate attorneys with being artists (Jenny practiced law near Atlanta before moving to Ada last summer) but she honed her window drawing talent when she was a teenager working for a movie theater.
Back then, she'd occasionally draw a picture on the theater window telling passers-by what was playing. Rhett, the new library director, helped some...by coloring in the building, tree, and wording.
The Claypool and Cartwright families of Lima sing carols on Saturday at the long term and rehab portion of Vancrest. While...just down the hall, in the assisted living portion of Vancrest, Melia Santillanez plays the keyboard. (Monty Siekerman photos)
