People with medication allergies or a history of allergic reactions are often wary of trying new medications or vaccines. When initial reports of reaction to COVID-19 vaccines came out, experts gathered to determine how to best counsel patients with a history of allergies regarding weighing the risk versus benefits of the vaccine. Current Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for people with a history of allergic reaction to vaccines or injectable medications is to consider a consultation with an Allergist/Immunologist prior to vaccination. Making the decision about whether to get the vaccine can be difficult. Following these five tips can make the decision easier.

The Jumbo Jr. Farmers 4-H Club met at McDonald Township Hall on June 7th at 7:00pm. The meeting was called to order by member Brenna Dyer.
Lydia Caldwell led the Pledge of Allegiance and Holden Lautenschlager led the 4-H pledge.
Roll call, noted by Brenna Dyer was responded to by members with their favorite fair food.
Treasurer report was given and an environmental report was given by Lydia Caldwell. The report was on composting.

ADA - The Ada summer swim team soundly defeated the visiting Findlay YMCA Frogs in West Ohio Aquatic League competition Thursday night.
Ada beat the visitors 622-302 in the combined boys/girls team standings to even their season record at 2-2.
The Alligator girls won over Findlay 302-159, while the Gator boys beat the Frogs by a 320-143 count. Both the Ada boys and girls teams are 2-2 in their respective dual meets this summer.
The Ohio Northern men's soccer team will open its 2021 season on Sept. 1 with a home match against Trine (Ind.) under third-year head coach Chris Matejka.
The Polar Bears will then travel north to play at Calvin (Mich.) and Hope (Mich.) Sept. 3-4.
Northern will then return home to host Concordia (Mich.) and Huntington (Ind.) Sept. 10-11 at Kerscher Stadium as part of the annual ONU Invitational.
Northern will also host Hanover (Ind.) and travel to Ohio Wesleyan, Westminster (Pa.), Carnegie Mellon (Pa.), Rose-Hulman (Ind.) and Kalamazoo (Mich.) in non-conference action.
