Ada Schools submit financial forecast
The Ada Exempted Village School District has submitted a five-year financial forecast to the Ohio Department of Education as approved by the board of education in November 2021 (full report at Ohio Department of Education).
The report includes both data and notes providing the assumptions used for financial projections including revenue, expenditures and changes in fund balances for 2019-2026.
The assumptions section of the report included the following:
“The district is very thankful for the passage of the .75% income tax renewal. The passage of the levy will allow the district administration to plan for the needs of our students and to have fiscal stability for the district.”
“As the administration plans for the future, they will need to make sure that the district is able to obtain positive cash balance throughout the forecast. They will need to review the expenditures based on the current revenues in order to obtain this.”
