You might call this Ada's fountain of youth. The spray of water located in front of The Freed Center greets ONU students each day as they pass by on their way to classes. As the weather gets colder the fountain will shut down and we'll see it again next spring.

Robert Alexander, ONU professor of political science and founding director of the Institute for Civics and Public Policy, was featured by CNN on Sept. 21 in the cable network’s coverage of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death.

Alexander along with David B. Cohen, professor of political science at the University of Akron, co-authored an opinion piece titled “GOP push to fill RBG’s seat could backfire spectacularly."

Reservations are being accepted now

The Inn at ONU is taking reservations for its “Around the world Halloween wine sampling” event planned in October.

The sampling is from 7:30 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 31, at The Inn, 401 W. College Ave., Ada.

The evening includes five wine samples from a selection of eight wines unique to The Inn, plus a variety of appetizers and desserts.

Wine commentary will be provided during the evening by Diana Kerr Brown, an industry wine expert. Live music is also part of the event.

Wine will be available for purchase during the evening.
