Traditional high school camps are canceled

Traditionally summer is a busy place on the Ohio Northern University campus with dozens of high school students in a variety of camp settings.

This summer things are different on campus as all traditional summer camps for high school students are canceled due to the covid-19 pandemic.

The enclosed shelter house under construction at the Ada park now has footers in place. Construction started earlier this month and should be completed by early fall.

I urge everyone on the school board, in the Ada community, and Hardin County to think beyond themselves to their neighbors, their churches, to the businesses in town, and to the surrounding community.

By Christine North
On this past Thursday evening, June 18, I had the opportunity to enjoy one of the freedoms we have in this country – the right to free speech.

I and eight other engaged citizens from the Ada community spoke to the Ada School board regarding concerns related to the upcoming school year and measures which may or may not be in place regarding safeguards around COVID-19.

Here is the Hardin sheriff's log for June 23-24.

Countless residents quickly identifed the location of this wooden wheel, despite the fact that no one has boarded a passenger train in Ada in decades.

You will find the answer to this puzzle below. Next week we'll toss you a tougher one. Stay tuned.
