Ada will host the 12th annual Hardin County Chamber and Businss Alliance annual awards presentation and membership dinner.
The event is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, in McIntosh Center on the campus of Ohio Northern University.
The program includes a 5:30 p.m. reception, 6:30 p.m. awards program, 7:15 p.m. dinner and 7:45 p.m. business meeting.

Last year, Deb Curlis, earned the 2016 Citizens of the Year award at the event.
The cost of cleaning state roads in Hardin and 7 other nearby counties has more than doubled this year compared to last winter. A colder, snowier winter this year has cost the state more than $7 million since November compared to $3.7 million a year ago.
About twice as much salt has been spread and three times as much liquid de-icer has been used. State trucks in the 8-county area have driven nearly 372,000 miles so far this winter to keep the roads as safe as possible.

Senior Joey DiOrio (Columbus/Watterson) posted his second career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 12 rebounds and senior Travis Feitshans (Arcanum/Franklin Monroe) added 10 for ONU.

Ada's Community Improvement Corp. (CIC) invites membership from the Ada community in 2018.
Membership in the CIC is open to all interested residents. An annual membership is $25.
Community improvement corporations are economic development arms for the governmental body they serve. In that way, a CIC advances, encourages and promotes industrial, economic, commercial and civic development in a community.
CIC meetings are open to the public and take place at noon on a quarterly basis in McIntosh Center on the ONU campus. The next meeting is April 18.
